BILL GOODMAN
President
Dr. Goodman founded Applied Physics in 1976 and is a technical expert in the design and manufacture of high-performance magnetometers, accelerometers, directional and gamma sensors, and Measurement While Drilling (MWD) systems. He holds more than 20 patents for Optically Pumped Magnetometer (OPM) sensors, accelerometers, magnetometers, and electric dipole transmission systems. Dr. Goodman has a BS in Electrical Engineering and a PhD. in Physics from the University of Virginia.
TIM KOLTEK
CEO
Mr. Koltek has over two decades of experience as a CEO, most recently at Koltek Energy Services, a nationwide directional drilling provider that Applied Physics Systems acquired in 2022. Previously, he was CEO at itrezzo, a software developer used by over 10,000 companies worldwide. Mr. Koltek has a degree in Business Administration from Trinity University in San Antonio, TX.
BRYAN FUJII
COO – Applied Physics
Since 2008, Mr. Fujii has been central in a variety of managerial and operational roles at Applied Physics Systems. Most recently, he oversaw Production and the field offices in Houston, Texas, and Calgary, Alberta.
JONATHAN TRAUNER
COO – Applied Physics CRYO
Mr. Trauner oversees the production of Applied Physics’ superconducting rock magnetometers, which are utilized globally in research labs to analyze the magnetic properties of rock samples. With expertise in import/export operations, comprehensive logistics, and ownership of an audio company, he brings a wealth of experience to his role.
MAX GOODMAN
VP Marketing and Sales
Mr. Goodman leads sales and marketing at Applied Physics Systems. He has been instrumental in identifying and working with early customers for new technology offerings. APS sensors are used in applications across a range of industries, including energy exploration, aerospace, and defense. Mr. Goodman has a BA in Economics from the University of Virginia.
